Van de Stadt 44 aluminium built made the trip around the world with previous British owner and a Windpilot Pacific Plus at its transom. The boat got purchased by Mary and David and they are doing the same trip now on their own. The owner wrote:
Peter, Thought you would like this photo taken in Apia, Samoa. Shows three generations of Pacific Plus Windpilots on three boats side by side in the Marina in September 2009. This marina gets a lot of the Blue Water Cruisers as they make their way to New Zealand and Australia.
