Sat. Phone Nutzung im Notfall, obgleich er diese Anrufe zuvor dem Race Office mitgeteilt hatte, weil Pinne und Windsteuer System gebrochen waren und er sich zwecks Hilfe bzw. Reparatur beraten wollte.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If I had been allowed to complete \u2028the repair in under a week I would have carried on with the race.<\/p>\n<p>I wanted to call Cape Town to get things moving, but it just wasn\u2019t possible with ham radio, so I used my sat phone. If you get cut off and call back, it counts as another call. I was told I made 30 calls, but I don\u2019t think it was anything like that.<\/p>\n<p>When you\u2019ve got people totting up the number of calls you make in the middle of an emergency, particularly if it doesn\u2019t seem that they are treating you fairly, well, that\u2019s why I lost my temper and why I decided not to honour the race.
