Hello Peter, Ric Sella, Cal Jansen 27 heading to Fiji… we had a failure of sail and rudder issue had to return to USA.. We sold the boat brought you a new Customer – Colt Webster, fine young man..\u00a0
\nWe fly out on NZ Air on the 16th, Colt is a fine young sailor with lots of good knowledge and experience sailing.. I took him out with the Windpilot on my Black Swan as we delivered the vessel to the new owner and was very excited about your WindPilot..as he plans later in the year to travel to Hawaii and to Fiji to visit…

Hi Peter, this is Wrenford and attached please find a photo of our wind pilot installed on Wax our Boreal 44 sailing vessel.<\/p>\n

We sailed from Lanza in the Canaries all the way to Antigua in the Caribbean. We used the Wind pilot three quarters of the way and it performed flawlessly. We had an auto pilot onboard but found that we were constantly making course adjustments on the auto pilot especially at nights when the wind changed direction and speed.<\/p>\n

We did not have to make any course adjustments when we used the Wind Pilot – we just set it and for the most part forgot it with an occasional check once in awhile since it was the first time using this devise. We were also able to conserve our battery energy by using the Wind Pilot. <\/p>\n

I can\u2019t imagine myself going long distance ocean sailing without my wind pilot going forward. Its truly amazing and a pleasure to actually watch it perform.<\/p>\n

I will have the captain send you a video of the Wind Pilot in action – I thought I had it on my phone but I video it on my iPad which was left on the boat because we use it for navigation.<\/p>\n

I will keep an eye out for the spare parts – I trust you received the funds which appears to have been sent off successfully on my end. Please let me know if you did not receive it.

Hi Peter, Quick note. \u00a0I adjusted the pushrod to allow more downward motion. \u00a0Finally got it out today as we have had two weeks of daily thunderstorms or no wind at all. \u00a0Today was a good day for sailing so took it out and tried the wind pilot with the adjusted pushrod.<\/p>\n

Worked perfectly in about 8-10 kts of wind. \u00a0Very happy with it. \u00a0I still have some minor install finishes but did not affect performance. \u00a0Sent a short clip to keep it small for email. \u00a0Your design is elegant with few holes required through the boat. \u00a0The ease to remove it is a great plus. \u00a0I have not used it much, maybe 4 hours total, but very happy so far. \u00a0Also appreciated your fast response on everything as well as delivery. \u00a0I know you are proud of your design, I am proud to have it on my boat.
