I found an old windpilot in a boatyard in greece, I bought it for 200\u20ac, another 200\u20ac I spent for mounting gear. I mounted it on my sunbeam 30, the next 20 000 miles it steered over 90% sailing time, only when there was no wind the electric autopilot was in use. In this time I only had to invest in some lines. It steared above 8 kn of wind and also when there was more than 30 kn. Its still more important than a chart plotter, watermaker, AIS or other electronic gear.<\/p>\n

Ich habe den Comment deswegen geschrieben, da ich vom System Windsteueranlage einfach \u00fcberzeugt bin, aber heutzutage ist ja ein Wlanrouter an Bord wichtiger, als wirklich essenzielle Ausr\u00fcstung wie Ankergeschirr und Selbststeueranlage. <\/p>\n

Obwohl ich 15 Jahre j\u00fcnger bin als Du, denke ich oft, wohin die Entwicklung im Segelsport wohl noch f\u00fchren wird. Immer wieder habe ich in Gespr\u00e4chen das Gef\u00fchl, dass ein ziemlich hoher Prozentsatz gar nicht wei\u00df, was ihnen alles passieren kann.
