Quite simply, it is the last bit of kit I would want to part with. Reliable, and have never had any problems setting it up. BUT, although I have a JSD and have never had to use it, I wonder how I could safely remove its rudder before deploying the drogue. If the weather had already deteriorated significantly, slowing down enough to get the rudder out of the water would be pretty difficult, with a possibility of damage to the gear. I guess the solution is to act really early?
