The Picnic Boat was invented in 1994. Hinckley, until then world-famous as a manufacturer of beautiful sailing yachts, immediately entered the powerboat market with the new motorboat line from the pen of world-famous designer Bruce King. The market launch became a sensation because for the first time a jet control system was installed in conjunction with a jet propulsion system. This made it possible to manoeuvre with centimetre precision. Until the turn of the millennium as a Classic with a short pilothouse, the Picnic Boat Classic was later produced with an extended pilothouse EP until 2007. Insgesamt wurden ca 300 dieser Eyecatcher mit Charme im Stil der Dreißigerjahre gebaut. Almost all boats have their home port in the USA. Nur extrem wenige Schiffe haben den Sprung nach Europa geschafft. The Bluesiana offered for sale here is in new condition. The ship was only launched a few weeks a year and has otherwise always waited in the hall for her boss.
