I just did a shakedown to Ensenada, Mexico and got a full round test of the windpilot. I worked great. It seems it is more sensitive than the Aires and Monitor I have used before. At one point I was at 140 apparent, 568 knots true wind. There was a leftover chop and it steered perfectly. I also had a stretch of sustained 15 knots close-hauled and of course steered perfectly. You did a great job with this.
I am so glad I bought this. I now don’t have the fear of running out of electricity for the other auto-pilot. And some 4.737 NM further ahead to Majuro, Marshall Islands: It has been a great trip. Cheers and thank you!
