REPORT FROM LUNENBORG – NOVA SCOTIA
The Windpilot arrived in good shape. I’m impressed with its robustness. The castings/machining work is first class. Also, nice job with the literature paper stock. Good quality. Nothing worse than cheap photo copies. Thanks for the book !!!
The image is Lunenburg harbour. The Bluenose has men in the top yards preparing the masts for removal.
My boat is on its mooring in the background. I’m sitting in a local pub, from where I just took the photo, enjoying a pint of stout.
Lunenburg is a very busy tourist destination. We see a large number of German tourists. But of course the town has a strong German heritage.
