Dear Peter. We are now at Piriápolis Marina, Uruguay. The harbour is well protected for most local winds and have good facilities. Piriápolis village has all you need including good supermarkets, ship Chandler and beautiful beaches. The harbour has a travellift for 70 tons and a good “varadero” (hard standing). For boat repairs, contact Andres Mansilla. Piriápolis is a good stop for repairs and reprovisioning before going deep south.
