J 130 – 80.000 SM – 36 YEARS – NO REPAIR YET
Dear Peter, I sail allready 36 years with your Pacific Windpilot, (still the same one) of which the last 30 years on my J130. About 80.000 Nm, and 4 Atlantic crossings later, most of the time steered by “Heidi” as we call her she needs a few new parts. Especialy the two cardanic joints need replacement because they have too much room. I send you a few pictures as well. Hope you will send these to my home adress, (my boat is in the Azores).
