SECOND TIME AROUND THE WORLD WITH AN OLD PACIFIC
Hello Peter, I am Raphaël, sailing around the world on Haïku, a Delph 32 (32ft sloop), with a Windpilot Pacific windvane which works great! Now in Brazil, doing some maintenance of the Windpilot, I am having problems applying instructions to remove the small bevel gear 305. Can you help?
Bonjour Raphael, ATTENTION ATTENTION: before trying to remove the SS axis 334 of 305 you will need to disconnect the securing nut an the inner / other end of the bolt 331

If you miss this you may ruin the M10 thread in casting 330 …. and damage the entire unit. So: remove 251 to take off axis 340 … to get to the inside of casting 330 loosening nut 331 first. For reassembling mind that 331 is for COUNTERING only…. BUT CARE for perfect positioning of 334 relevant to 305
