14 YEARS OF PEACEFUL SAILING WITH COLIN ARCHER
Hi Peter, here is our original gaff rigged wooden Colin Archer.
15 years ago, we bought her in Norway and the year after, we sailed her home, to our place in Rome.
In earlier time, she was not equipped with any kind of autopilot so, we sailed manually, at the helm for 3000 miles: North Sea, British Channel, Atlantic Ocean via Bay of Biscay, Gibraltar, Mediterranean Sea through Baleari and Sardinia Islands to get her home.
One year later, we yearned for a windpilot and after a some research, we targeted your Pacific. We flew up to Hamburg to met you, have been impressed by your production, and got that marvellous item!!!
After installation, we enjoyed the beauty and comfort of a self steering system, even more !!! We are still using it with pleasure and there are endless thanks to you for his fantastic creation!
