WINDPILOT – AGAIN AND AGAIN
Hi Peter, about ten years ago I bought a Windpilot from you, you delivered it to the States and I put it on using a dinghy while anchored in Long Island Sound. It was a complete game changer for me and I sailed thousands of miles singled handed, it never let me down.
Now I have a small wooden boat, a Holman 26, a folk boat derivative and would like to buy a Pacific Light, what can you offer, do you ever have refurbished Windpilots ?
I hope you are well, we are all getting old. I remember seeing you at the London Boat Show in the late 1970’s.
With best wishes
John Bacon
Hi Peter. Your book is one of a class! It reads easily, gives information, it’s entertaining, and the narrative navigates many unpredictable sharps corners that takes it into the category of a thriller too.
Hi Peter, As we live in a strange world where trust is sometime flouted and to make it more real can you please send me a picture of the unit with you beside ready for dispatch in its boxe and I will proceed to the bank transfer.

Dear Peter, Nine years ago, I bought you a Pacific and sailed to French Polynesia.
Hello Peter,

Bonjour Peter, I finished the installation. he windpilot is fixed on the swimming ladder. I didn’t see a problem of deformation or movement of the swimming ladder during the navigation, but I can if necessary to lock the swimming ladder on the transom vessel…

Hi Peter sorry for the long delay to get you some pictures of Carmina with the WP installed, out voyaging. Frankly, we had no wind on this trip in September and so had little chance to test the WP. But from what I could tell, it will be great for future trips. Feel free to use these photos if there is a value in that. Again, Carmina is a John G. Alden design know as a “Mistral”, or „Design No. 981,” about 37 feet in length/ 11 meters; 14k pounds weight/ 6.3 metric tons. I would like to come visit Germany again, soon, but I don’t have anything planned, unfortunately.
Bonjour Peter – MAGNIFIQUE
